About The Teacher

Mrs. Leitner has two children and one dog. She studied Home
Economics at the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her
Master's Degree in Business Management at the University of Maryland.

On August 27, 2006, Mrs. Leitner completed her first triathlon!

Mission For The Class

Our mission is to create a fun and safe learning environment in order to explore issues regarding the family, the economy and the home.  We will learn to be informed consumers and apply financial literacy to real life situations.  We will also learn food safety and participate in a variety of food labs.
